Michael J. Zimmer, 57, of Palm Beach Shores, FL, died suddenly on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at home. Born in Trenton, NJ Michael was a resident of Lawrenceville, NJ most of his life prior to his move to Florida 20 years ago. He was employed as a plumbing estimator with Farmer & Irwin, Inc. located in Riviera Beach, FL. Son of the late Stephie Zimmer, he is survived by his father, William G. "Bill" Zimmer, Sr. of Lawrenceville, NJ; his brother, Billy Zimmer and his wife, Debbie of Rehoboth Beach, DE; his nephews, Kyle, Trevor and Zachary Zimmer; his very special friend, Joanne Conner; and his cousins, Barbara Zimmer and Richard, Tommy and Teddy Franckowiak and many others. Funeral services for Michael will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. The Very Rev. Msgr. Vincent Gartland, Pastor of the Church of St. Ann will officiate. Friends and relatives may call on Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Sons of the American Legion, Post 458, will conduct services at 7:45 PM. Private family burial services will take place in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
