EDWARD DAVID SWEENEY, SR. Mr. Sweeney, of North Palm Beach, died May 15, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; children, Edward, Patrick, Susan (John) Groth, Mike (Julie), Tom (Gia); and nine grandchildren, Spencer, Sierra, Sydney, Hannah, Grace, Sheila, Meghan, Mack and Michael. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, May 18, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Riviera Beach, with Rev. Fr. Gilmond Boucher, OMI, the celebrant. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations in Ed's name to the American Cancer Society, 621 Clearwater Park Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401.
