MAXINE THERESA ORF RECKAMP HOLL

Maxine passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at the age of 82, peacefully at home among her loving family. Maxine was born in O'Fallon, MO, in 1930, to Daniel M. Orf and Anna Irmine (Irma) Orf. She moved to Juno, Fl, in 1954 with her first husband, Orville Reckamp. She reared Gary (Lorrie), Tom (Marcia), and Rick (Lauren), and with her second husband, Bill, she helped rear William (Sylvia), Richard, who preceded her in death, Joy (Dave), and Bonnie (Robert). She had three brothers, Daniel, "Bud", Don and Ron; and seven sisters; Darlene, Gladys, Laverne, Betty, Ann, Bea, and Peggy.

Maxine was an avid golfer, frequently out-driving and beating her playing partners. She was an exceptional sailor, having boated to the Bahamas frequently, and going as far as Eluthera and Nassau on the family boat. Maxine was very active in the Palm Beach Gardens Moose Lodge, serving many Lodge positions. In 2005, she was recognized as "International Co-Worker of the year."

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM Sunday, May 27, 2012 at NORTHWOOD FUNERAL HOME, 5608 Broadway, West Palm Beach, where the Women Moose will perform their rite. A reception will follow at 3PM at the PBG Moose Lodge, 3600 RCA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, Fl, 33410, 626-4417.
