VELMA V. ALEXANDER On Saturday, September 24, 2011, Velma Vernadene Alexander, a former resident of Jupiter, died quietly in her sleep in Maryland. Devoted wife of the late George M. Alexander; beloved mother of Carl V. Alexander of Silver Spring, MD., and the late Larry Warren Alexander; grandmother of Jason (Courtney) Alexander, Aleah (Bob) Ireland, Laurel Alexander, Kevin Alexander and Austin Alexander; great-grandmother of Brian and Sean; dear sister of Loretta (Earl) Ritchie of Carthage, MO., Pearl Thompkins of Garden Grove, CA., Lloyd Shore of Visalia, CA., Fred Miller of Stephens City, VA., and Marie (Warren) Yoder of Sun City, CA. Also loved by Larry's wife, Maureen Alexander; countless nieces, nephews, family and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011, at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, with Rev. Terry Townsend officiating.
