Thomas Anthony Buchholz

Thomas Buchholz, 87, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2021. He was born December 29, 1933, in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where he graduated High School. He entered the United States Navy and served in the Naval Ceremonial Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. After his discharge, he trained and worked as a barber in Cleveland, Ohio. He met Arline Davies Jackson in Cleveland and they married before moving to West Palm Beach. He becamethe long-time owner and proprietor of the Haverhill Barber Shop, a local institution. He is preceded in death by his wife, Arline Davies Buchholz, and his youngest son, Raymond T. Buchholz. He is survived by his oldest son, James L. Buchholz and his wife, Bonnie. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Julie Buchholz Higgins, Amy Marie Buchholz; and his great-grandchildren, Abigail and Evelyn Higgins. Thomas' leisure activities included photography and oil painting. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Riviera Beach, with Rev. Fr. Peter Truong presiding. Committal services and burial will follow
