DANIEL BARRETT

Born April 2, 1929, returned home to his Lord on March 21, 2012.

Dan was born in County Kerry, Ireland. From that point on, he led a full life that brought

him around the globe. He was ordained a Catholic priest in St.Colman Cathedral, Newry,

Co Down on June 16, 1962. From 1962 - 1973, he spent time inplaces such as Nigeriaand

Argentina,finally settling in the United States. There he spent 21 years serving theChurch.

In 1994, he moved on the next phase of his life, marrying his wife,Eileen. They have spent

17 wonderful years together.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen, his three step-children, MaryPiantanida, Stephen Piantanida

and Anne-Marie Piantanida-Whitlock, his son-in-law Chris Whitlock, histhree lively granddaughters,

Anabelle, Adeline and Grace, his sister Joan White and countless niecesand nephews.

Wake services will be held on Tuesday, March 27 from 2pm to 4pmand 6pm to 8pm at the

NORTHWOOD FUNERAL HOME. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday,March 28 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, West Palm Beach.NORTHWOOD FUNERAL HOME, West Palm Beach,in charge of arrangements.
